September 6th, 2009: I participated in Tour de Gaps which was an 82 mile, 4 mountain murderous ride. My overall finishing time was 5:45 and first place finished in 4:18. It was a damn hard bike ride and it made me realize how much I miss the beautiful mountains of Japan. Never the less it was fun to get out on the bike with my brother and Joe-Ray in the Mount Airy region of North Carolina, gorgeous area. This labor day weekend though I spent my time drawing with my Wacom Tablet and I have some New Images to show off, check em out.

August 31st, 2009: Well I spent the summer moving back from Japan to the United State and am living in North Carolina. Hand to get myself into graduate school which worked out well so I will be studying my PhD at UNC-Charlotte. Also had to deal with a lot of paper-work and red-tape to get my wife in graduate school as well, not to mention Driver's Licence, visa, immigration, etc. etc. etc. The list could go on and on, in any case it's been a busy summer but finally everything has wined down. Classes, the lab, research etc. are all going well although a bit busy. However the most interesting thing was my participation in My First Triathlon which went quite well and was a lot of fun.

May 12th, 2009: Two new videos in the Stories section, the first is me reflecting on my Final Shikawa Race in Fukuyama Japan. On the off chance you don't know what Shikawa is, you can read about it here. I also recently ate the most delicious morsel of goodness on the planet, Japanese Roll Cake, check out the short video to see just how damn good it is, America needs this cake more than a cure for cancer!

May 7th, 2009: I've been cycling like crazy since April first in Japan, here are some of my adventures. The story mainly focuses on my Wednesday long distance rides with Sakai-san and a recent Training Camp I participated in during Golden Week with the team.

April 7th, 2009: It's been a busy couple of weeks. I graduated from Hiroshima University with my Masters in Information Engineering, which means I studied computer graphics. I moved from Saijo to Matsunaga to live with my wife full time, fucking wonderful and long awaited, and lastly I went to Tokyo with my wife to get her visa as we prepare to move back to United States for awhile. Check out the images of Tokyo in the new Tokyo Spring 2009 Album, or read up on my adventures of getting the Perfect Shot of Yokohama's Landmark Tower.

March 28th, 2009: Been working on a lot of things recently along with graduation, visas, moving across the globe, entering graduate school, etc. However I do have one short post about a job I had in Japan at a game company called Kemco. It was a great experience and a lot of fun.

January 29th, 2009: Alright a couple of updates to make. The last time I made an update was November 29th, exactly two months ago so I have a few things to report on. One, the reason the update has taken so long is because I have been busy as hell. In december we celebrated Shogatsu which is Japanese New Years and it was great. Shortly after we went to Osaka and took the GRE which I have been studying for, I applied for my PhD at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and we have been applying for Tomoko's visa for the United States. Lastly I wrote a research paper which is currently under review so when I get the response about that I will let you all know how it went. The first update for now is the Shogatsu article, check it out, it has a glimpse into traditional Japanese new year as used to be practice. Other than I will have a few more updates to make regarding some of the programming that I have been doing recently. I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years (fuck Christmas) and let us have a great 2009.
One last news, check out www.cinemassacre.com in one of his latest videos, 'You Know What's Bullshit - episode 9' he also voiced his opinion about how Christmas blows. If you didn't know cinemassacre.com is run by James Rolfe and he does the Angry Video Game Nerd, some of the best entertainment on the internet.
