Ryan came to visit awhile back when he first got to Japan. He started his new job at a company called Heart in Tokyo and the company itself is a giant steaming pile of shit which regularly attempts to rip Ryan and likely the other teachers off like that's their day job. Luckily for Ryan he works at a high school all day and only has to deal with the company when he's refusing to get ripped off. All in all its typical English school bullshit where they take advantage of foreingers in Japan, but Ryan doesn't fall for it because his Japanese is outstanding, score one for intelligence.
In any case he came down and so we scheduled a nice dinner with some friends. Below are some pictures.
The next day after excessive drinking, Ryan and I decided to join a bicycle race. Ryan was at a slight disadvantage because he rode Tomoko's bike which is obviously not exactly to scale for the big white guy. Never the less we had a good run and enjoyed the morning. Check out the pictures below. I almost achieved a personal best record and ended with 18 minutes 30 seconds. Ryan had something a few minutes longer. It was a nice day and a lot of fun to ride through Japan wtih my friend. The race by the way is Shikawa.
